Extended Warranty Options
Building on the exceptional warranty that already accompanies your FIAT 500, FIAT FORWARD CARE is designed to enhance and expand your coverage well beyond the factory warranty. As an affiliate of FIAT, Chrysler Group Service Contracts has been providing peace of mind for more than 30 years and is the only service contract company endorsed by Chrysler Group LLC.

With every plan we offer, you can expect:

With every New Vehicle Major Coverage Plan, you get these additional benefits:
  • $1,000 Trip Interruption Protection*
    • The Plan will pay up to $1,000 for lodging, meals and car rental expenses if; (1) the vehicle is inoperable due to a failure covered by the service contract and (2) the failure occurs more than 100 miles from home.
  • $100 Towing/Roadside Assistance*
    • The Plan provides 24-hour "Sign-and-Go" Towing and Roadside Assistance (up to $100 per occurrence) beyond the 4 years provided by the base warranty. Benefits include towing, flat-tire change (with your good spare), battery jump, out-of-gas fuel delivery (maximum 2 gallons) and lockout service (i.e., keys locked in car or frozen lock). (Administered by Cross Country Motor Club, Inc. You must call 1-888-388-3054 for prior authorization to receive these Plan benefits.)
  • $30 First Day Rental+
    • The Plan provides a $30 First Day Car Rental Allowance or Taxi Reimbursement for any mechanical repair or maintenance service (excluding bodywork) performed at your FIAT Studio.
  • $30 Car Rental Allowance+
    • The Plan will pay up to $30 per day ($150 maximum per occurrence) for Car Rental or Taxi Reimbursement anytime a component covered by the Plan fails, causing the vehicle to be inoperable and repairs take overnight.

FIAT FORWARD CARE offers three levels of major component protection for your new FIAT.
POWERTRAIN CARE PLUS provides protection for repairs of more than 400 components, including seals and gaskets for covered components, extending coverage to either 6 Years/85,000 Miles or 7 Years/100,000 Miles.
  • ENGINE Cylinder block and all internal parts; cylinder head assemblies and all internal parts.
  • TRANSMISSION Transmission case and all internal parts. Manual transmission clutch parts not covered at any time.
  • DRIVELINE Transaxle case and all internal parts; axle shaft assemblies.
  • STEERING Steering gear assembly; power steering gear.
  • AIR CONDITIONING Air conditioning compressor assembly; condenser; evaporator; hoses and lines.
ADDED CARE PLUS extends Powertrain Care Plus to provide protection on more than 800 major mechanical components and electrical systems, including seals and gaskets for covered components, for 5 Years/70,000 Miles, 6 Years/85,000 Miles, 7 Years/100,000 Miles, or Lifetime Protection.
  • ENGINE COOLING & FUEL SYSTEM Cooling fan; radiator; fuel pump; fuel tank and lines.
  • ELECTRICAL/EXPANDED ELECTRICAL Starter motor; alternator; all wiring harnesses; electronic fuel injection system.
  • FRONT SUSPENSION Struts; upper and lower control arms; upper and lower ball joints; front wheel bearings.
  • REAR SUSPENSION Rear springs; rear trailing arm; rear stabilizer/sway bar.
  • BRAKES/ANTILOCK BRAKES Master cylinder; calipers, pistons, lines, hoses, hydraulic assemblies, sensors, relays and more.
  • INSTRUMENTATION Electronic instrument cluster; fuel gauge; speedometer.
  • POWER GROUP Rear window defroster; power window motors; power seat motors; power door locks.
  • LUXURY GROUP Keyless entry receiver/module; trip computer; electronic vehicle information center.
MAXIMUM CARE, our best protection, extends Added Care Plus to provide Full Mechanical Coverage on more than 5,000 mechanical components - "If it's Mechanical... it's Covered" - for 5 Years/70,000 Miles, 6 Years/85,000 Miles, 7 Years/100,000 Miles, or Lifetime Protection.
  • BODY MECHANISMS All body mechanisms, such as hinges, latches, levers, lift gates and more.
  • MANUAL INTERIOR MECHANISMS All handles, consoles, levels, adjusters, switches, hinges, cup holders and more.
  • SAFETY & SECURITY All mechanical items related to safety and security
  • PLUS. All Electrical Systems. All Engine/Body Computers. Shocks. Torsion Bars. Engine Mounts. Factory and Studio-Installed FIAT Accessories, including Navigation, Security and Entertainment Systems. All Seat, Hood, Trunk Lid, Liftgate, Door and Window Mechanisms, and much more!
WHEN PLAN COVERAGE STARTS & ENDS

All time and mileage specifications are from the warranty start date (the original in-service date of the vehicle) and 0 Miles. Plan coverage continues for the length of time and mileage you select. Plan expiration is specified in your Plan Provisions. Visit your FIAT Studio for additional details, eligibility and restrictions.

GAP (Guaranteed Automotive Protection)

Provides you with the financial security to pay off the difference between the market value of the vehicle and the amount owed to the financial institution in the event of total loss.

AUTO APPEARANCE CARE

Keep your FIAT 500 looking new with Auto Appearance Care. This plan provides unlimited paintless ding and dent coverage for the full term of the plan. Need more coverage? Auto Appearance Care Plus provides unlimited coverage for glass chips and cracks, and unlimited coverage for rip, tears and burn hole damage to interior trim panels, seats, carpeting and floor mats.

ROAD HAZARD TIRE & WHEEL PROTECTION

Repair or replacement coverage for all four (4) OEM or aftermarket tires and wheels, or full replacement value for all four (4) tires and wheels where tires/wheels are no longer available, which are damaged due to a road hazard condition. Includes cost of mounting, balancing and stems.

LEASE WEAR & TEAR/SMARTLEASE

Protection against extensive wear and tear damage on your lease vehicle. These plans help take the worry out of excessive charges at the time of lease turn-in.

MOPAR T.I.R.E. PROTECTION

Protection for your Studio-purchased replacement tires against damage caused by debris such as potholes, nails, glass or other natural occurrences that are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

ETCH/ETCH PLUS 3-2-1

As a countermeasure to vehicle theft, plans provide for the permanent marking of a unique identification number on up to six (6) locations of your vehicle's glass surfaces. ETCH PLUS 3-2-1 provides for additional benefits in the event your vehicle is not recovered.

Specialized packages with specific services to fit your driving style

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE Additional coverage is available to extend Scheduled Maintenance to a maximum of six years. These plans are available to accommodate 8,000 Mile service intervals and have the option of 4,000 Mile LOF intervals. NOTE: These extended maintenance plans do not include wear items.

LUBE, OIL & OIL FILTER CHANGE PACKAGES (LOF) Plan terms range from one to six years.

Plan service will be provided by the Studio which sold you the Plan. In the event that you cannot return to the selling Studio for service, you may request Plan service from any FIAT Studio within the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. If you are unable to obtain Plan service from an authorized Studio, call our toll-free number to receive service instructions.
